I’m a dreamer. So was Joseph. 

His story taught me a valuable life lesson.  Having a dream doesn’t mean everyone needs to know about it.

Jospeh shared his dream with his brothers. Instead of supporting his dream their jealousy of him just intensified  (Gen 37:5–11). 

Not everyone has the ability, maturity or capacity to support the dream God’s placed within you. 

Protecting your dream isn’t about being secretive but using discernment.

Some people will celebrate and encourage your dream. But sadly some won’t.

That doesn’t mean your dream is wrong. You just need to know your audience.

You don’t have to announce every plan. Ore require everyone’s approval.

Or even convince people that your dream is possible.

The wisest thing you can do is pray about it, prepare for it, work on it quietly, and let the fruit speak when the time is right.

Don’t apologize for your dream. Or shrink it to fit your current chapter. Don’t dilute it make it acceptable to others or postpone or procrastinate on it. 

Instead dream boldly. And share wisely.
