They said it to you. Or about you. What you do with it matters.

People will tell you what you can’t do. Especially if you’ve tried before and failed. Multiple times.

They will tell you what you can’t have. Can’t experience. Or will never be.

Maybe you have failed. Provided proof of their words. But that’s your past.
It’s behind you.

And you don’t live in your past. Or from it.

Instead you forget what lies behind. To busy reaching forward to what lies ahead. Phil 3:13-14

Never let anyone use words to keep you shackled to a season you’ve been set free from.

When someone says something to me not in alignment with God’s promises about me, I disagree.

Quietly. Silently. But firmly. Then I toss those words into the trash. Because they are.

Never let their words linger in your mind. Don’t repeat them to yourself about yourself. And don’t make their speech your self beliefs..

Whey then say you can’t do something He says you can do all things. Through Christ who gives you the strength. To that very thing. Phil 4:13.

Even if you have failed at that thing before. All means all. Always has. Always will.

I encourage you to study God’s promises. Stand on them. Make them your beliefs. Thoughts about yourself. Words you say to yourself.

His Word silences theirs. Every time.

Guard your heart. Everything you do flows from it. Prob 4:23 It influences your thoughts, actions and overall life.

Protect it from words that could contaminate it. Never let someone prophecy a future over you God never intended you to have.

Remember that their words are weapons formed against you. But His Word says they will not prosper. Isa 55:17.

Just because they said it to you. Or about you. Doesn’t mean it has to be true.
