Is it time for you to make a move? To trade stagnant spaces from new places?
Most of us will say yes with our mouths while our minds scream no.
We want the promised land but have grown comfortable in our wilderness.
Moses understood this. His burning bush encounter with God began with a move.
He knew burning bushes become a pile of ashes. This one didn’t. So he decided to “turn aside now and see this marvelous thing, why the bush is not burned up.” Ex 3:4
Making a simple move changed his destiny, being promotef from the lowly pasture to a prominent national leader.
Hs move introduced him to his own shortcomings and fears. It also invited haters and naysayers. (Moses had to address this and we will too.)
Making moves often do this. You’ll feel unqualified. Others will feel uncomfortable and maybe even jealous or angry.
They’ll fight to keep you where they are. Comfort zones like companions. They don’t want to leave their’s or you to leave your’s.
You can stay there, complacent, apathetic or afraid. No one would blame you.
You can question your ability, skills and qualifications. That’s understandable.
You can even make excuses and plead with God for a Plan B that doesn’t require you to leave the familiar. No judgment here.
Or you can make that move and never look back.
So where do you want to make a move? Is it in your health, job, certain relationships or finances?
Maybe it’s internal. In your mindset, belief system and self perception.
I’m making both.
Some of them are major. Most minor. And all made with God’s guidance, strength and wisdom.
Is it time for you to make a move?
If so, pray about it. Get peace about it. Then make your move!
